We also teach a LIVE class on Thursday evenings Arizona time at 7pm. Once the classes are posted, they are always there to watch. Location: Tororo, Uganda in the Bombo District
Year Work Began: March 2016 to Present - ACTIVE! 

This orphanage is run by our dear friend, Jimmy Mayanja Mukiibi, who works tirelessly to care for 120 orphans and 7 teachers in the town of Tororo, Uganda. Jimmy runs a school there to educate the children, and he also leads worship in his church.

These are the projects that the Huggabear Children's Project, Inc. assist with:

*Clothing, shoes, and books for students in need

*Bedding for new students: frame of three bunkbeds, mattresses, & mosquito netting

*Holiday gifts and food for celebrations

*Starting the Huggabear Chicken Farm

The Huggabear Children's Project, Inc. believes in assisting orphanages in building small businesses so that they can become self-sufficient and not have to rely on the donations of others for so many of their daily operational expenses. They will still have needs for assistance as running an orphanage takes great financial support, but if they have their own means of income, it not only helps, it teaches the children skills in farming, business planning and management, and also in bartering and sales! This is what we believe is giving a hand up to those in need!

Location: Burgiri, Uganda
Year Work Began: 2024 to Present - ACTIVE!
This orphanage is in southern Uganda and is run by our new friend, Paul Kiregeya, who lovingly cares for 31 orphaned children, in addition to elderly people and widows.
This orphanage is in great need of more assistance for better housing conditions, consistency with food supplies, clothing, shoes, and educational and medical supplies.

This beautiful ministry of the Lord under the care of Atif and Fozia Raza, a fourth generation

Christian Pastor and their beautiful daughter, Abira, strive to care for over 30 orphaned children. Atif and Fozia work tirelessly to protect these children from those who oppose their faith and provide them with shelter, food, bedding, clothing, shoes, education, and medical care. They teach the children the Gospel of Jesus Christ and hold annual Christmas and Resurrection Sunday services along with Vacation Bible Schools, each year. Word Project Began: February 2014 to Present - ACTIVE

In the city of Chennai, Pastor Rajan Immanual cares for over twenty-five boys in an orphanage and school that he started through his church and runs with his wife and children.

Rajan works to provide the boys with a safe home, clean clothes and shoes, food, and educate them for school as well as teach them the Word of God. Pastor Rajan also provides the boys with medical care and helps them to set goals for their future, and helps direct them on the path to reach their dreams. Rajan has annual holiday parties, produces Christmas pageants for the children, and also holds annual Vacation Bible Schools to teach the children that Jesus LOVES them more than they can imagine!
